Psalm 31:24 says, 'Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD'.
In 2 Samuel 10:12 (NIV) Joab said to his brother Abishai, 'Be strong, and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. The LORD will do what is good in his sight'.
At our times of prayer today, we'll pray fervidly in the Spirit, and strengthen through prayers for them, men and women around the world, whose hearts the Lord has stirred to fight in defence of justice, truth, the oppressed, and for God's people and the churches of Christ. That they'll be bold to stand firm, full of courage to do the Lord's will, for His glory. The Lord make them victorious over all their adversaries in Jesus' name. Amen.
