Worry, stress, and anxiety creeps up into our minds when we try to shoulder and carry burdens we were never meant to bear alone.
But Jesus talks about this in Matthew 6:25-34. He reminds us that we are not to be anxious about our lives; what we eat, drink or wear. He also talks about how he clothes and feeds the birds and lilies of the field, so "Are ye not much better than they?"
The message is clear; if God cares deeply for the smallest things in creation, how much more does He care and provide for you?
Instead of letting stress, worry, anxiety and creeping thoughts rule your thinking, God wants us to TRUST in Him, with childlike faith.
Philippians 4:6-7 says: "Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.".
So when we truly let go and trust in Him, we can have peace beyond all understanding. A peace only faith in Christ can give us; knowing He is always with, will never leave us, nor forsake us.
And we are promised that ALL things work together for good to them that love God(Romans 8:28).
Hold onto God's promises today! He is with you, right now in this very moment. He is near, and He loves you!
Show Him your love by having faith, patience in waiting and trusting in His perfect plan for you!
God is with us, emboldening us, strengthening us, and guiding us!
