🎓 Alumni Story: Shakhzodakhon Khodjaeva From a Medical School graduate at Central Asian University to a Youth Programme Specialist at UNFPA Uzbekistan, Shakhzodakhon Khodjaeva’s journey shows that medicine can go far beyond the hospital. After graduating from CAU in 2025, she began working on youth-focused public health initiatives, coordinating around 600 volunteers and delivering training on reproductive health, HIV prevention, leadership, and public speaking. During her clinical rotations, one patient experience changed her perspective on medicine. She realized that some of the most important work in healthcare happens before a patient ever reaches the hospital — through prevention, education, and community engagement.
