The resurrection of Jesus Christ from death by the spirit of God brought salvation.Without his resurrection;we would have been still swimming in the ocean of sin.Jesus endured the death and pains we were subjected to when Adam and Eve became slaves to the lust of their eye,their flesh and pride which begun to root in their hearts[1Jn 2:16].He beared the disgrace afflicted to us all by taking on the cross unto mount Golgotha because he saw there's a glory and joy ahead after the cross[Heb 12:2].His joy was to have you and I as his brethren.He saw the happiness in heaven and hence wanted us to be part takers of the bliss[Isa 53:11].He hence brought HEAVEN unto earth for the kingdom of heaven is His[Col 1:13].We only need to do the will of His father to earn this great treasure and to become His brother [Mat 12:50].

This is a reminder that the rapture is real and all Christians need to share the word to the world.

The Great Preparation IT WAS EARLY evening. We were gazing down at the tent camp in which we had first seen the bride. We didn’t see her that night, nor did we expect to. “I wonder what she’s thinking,” I said. “And what she’s doing.” “The bride?” asked the teacher. “Yes.” “She’s preparing for the day of her wedding.” “How exactly is she preparing?” “She no longer focuses on her home as she once did … not on how comfortable it is or how uncomfortable.” “Because she’s leaving it.” “Exactly. And the more she focuses on her present circumstances, on what she’ll be leaving, the less she’ll be able to focus on where she’s going. She knows that her time in her present home is now temporary and limited. It’s not for her to grow more attached to it, but less attached. It’s for her to tread lightly. It’s her time to let go, to begin to say good-bye. Everything she once knew as her home is no longer so. It’s now her bridal chamber. She must now use everything she has to prepare herself for the wedding and the life that lies ahead of her.” “So she prepares herself by letting go,” I said, “by saying good-bye?” “Yes, and by whatever she can do to ready herself for her future life … not by beautifying her tent, but by beautifying herself. She prepares herself.” “But there’s a spiritual realm to all this … yes?” “Yes. If you belong to God, you’re His bride. And the world is your tent, your present home. And as the bride, your focus can no longer be on this, nor on your circumstances, nor on how comfortable or uncomfortable you are in this world. This is the place you’re leaving. And the more you focus on what you’re leaving, the less you’ll be able to focus on where you’re going. Your days in the world are temporary. You’re not in the world to grow more attached to it, but less attached. It’s your time for letting go, of treading lightly, of saying good-bye. So use every part of this life to prepare yourself for the life yet to come. Use the time you have in this world to prepare yourself for the days of eternity. You’re here to become beautiful. And fromnow on when you look at this world, no longer see it as your home, but see it for what it has now become … your bridal chamber. The Mission: Live today as one preparing for the wedding. *LIVING WORD DEVOTIONAL* _By Pastor Mensa Otabil_ Sunday 20th June 2021 *LET US SERVE GOD WITH REVERENCE* *Scripture Reading:* Hebrews 12:1-29 _Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear._ *(Hebrews 12:28)* As Christians, we belong to a Kingdom that cannot be moved or shaken. The great empires of antiquity—Egypt, Assyria, Greece, Rome—are all gone. In the same way, the great kingdoms of today will pass away. No earthly kingdom or system can abide forever. This is because we live in a world where nothing is permanent. Only the Kingdom of God is permanent. While Christian churches may pass away, God’s Kingdom ever abides and ever grows. Christian denominations and sects may die, but the Church of Christ lives and advances from generation to generation and from glory to glory. In the night, when we go to sleep, the presence of the sun may be veiled from us, but the sun is there, blazing and luminous as ever. On a rainy day, clouds may darken the sun from our view, and pour out a storm on us, but the sun is not lost—beyond and above the clouds its light continues to shine. So the reality of God’s kingdom within us may be disturbed and suspended and lost for a time, but the kingdom is not lost, suspended, or disturbed. If we have received Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Lord, we have “received a kingdom which cannot be moved.” Since we belong to God’s unshakeable Kingdom, we must remain steadfast in our faith. We have a firm foundation on which to stand. God’s Kingdom remains permanent regardless of the changing seasons of our world. It will endure beyond time. We must serve God acceptably. Because we have been given the priceless privilege of citizenship, we cannot live our lives as we please. We must live to please the King who has called us into His Kingdom. We must serve God with reverence. Though we must not be terrified of God, we should not take His presence for granted. We must not lose our reverence for God. We must place great value on our relationship with Him, on His Word, on the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit and all we have received because of our place in the Kingdom of God. *Prayer:* _Heavenly Father, you are Eternal, and your Kingdom is Everlasting. Help me to trust you always and in all things. In Jesus’ name, Amen._

In this also, this writer, and also his wife, have rejoiced for a lifetime in the true and noble character of godly Christian parents, honored by their contemporaries as true and worthy saints of God.
