➨ The Online School on Human Rights is taking applications for its 2026 edition which will run from August 25 to October 6. This fully online and free-of-charge academic programme provides students with the opportunity to critically explore the relationship between human rights, political institutions and democratic backsliding. Apply by July 19.
➨ The CEU Democracy Institute Leadership Academy (DILA) is taking applications for its 2026 editions. This three-month programme brings together public leaders, policy experts and civil society actors from Central and Southern Europe as well as the Western Balkans to learn more about democratic governance and leadership. Apply by July 5.
➨ ERIM International is looking for a Project Manager focused on Eurasia and Eastern Partnership countries, starting as soon as possible. The job holder will ensure the smooth implementation of projects in support of civil society, provide support for the implementation of different donor funded projects and guarantee strong coordination between stakeholders. Proficiency in an Eastern European language is a plus. Apply by July 13.
➨ Human Rights Watch is seeking an intern for their LGBT Rights Program in Berlin starting September 1. The intern will focus on monitoring and summarizing LGBT rights developments in the Europe and Central Asia region, conducting research assignments on human rights law and policy and attending internal strategy meetings. Proficiency in Russian Ukrainian, Turkish, Georgian and/or Armenian is a plus. Apply by August 2.
➨ Civil Society Europe (CSE) is seeking an external consultant to support the drafting of a booklet on the history of civil society at EU level. The booklet is designed for the organisation’s 10th anniversary and will be based on desk research and targeted interviews. Candidates should have experience and understanding of EU affairs and civil society, as well as research and writing skills. Apply by July 12.
