🇵🇰 Pakistan’s government has challenged a Supreme Court order requiring jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan to be transferred to Islamabad’s Shifa International Hospital within two days.
The court had also ordered that Khan be examined by a medical panel including a cardiologist, an eye specialist, and his personal physician.
The government argues there is no evidence Khan requires immediate hospital treatment and warned that allowing the transfer could encourage other prisoners to seek similar treatment.
