Moscow airports have restricted operations. Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky are temporarily not accepting or dispatching flights. According to the Ministry of Transport and Rosaviatsiya, the restrictions have been introduced to ensure flight safety.
Airlines are adjusting their schedules. Delays, rescheduling and route changes are possible not only in Moscow, but across carriers’ entire route networks.
Rosaviatsiya reports that the following have been arranged for waiting passengers: mats and mattresses, free drinking water, mother and baby rooms, and increased staffing of information desks and call centres.
