Dubai is spending more than AED 54 billion on two new metro lines.
The Blue Line — AED 20.5 billion, 14 stations, opening 9/9/2029 — is already 20% built, with a 2,000-tonne boring machine digging around the clock.
The Gold Line adds AED 34 billion: 42 km, fully underground.
The finished network: 162 km, 85 stations.
The city that built the future above ground is now building it underneath.
