Զենք և ռազմամթերք տեղափոխելու համար Նժդեհը 1909 թվականին վերադառնում է Կովկաս և ձերբակալվում ցարական իշխանությունների կողմից՝ բանտերում մնալով ավելի քան երեք տարի։ Նժդեհը Նախիջևանի ցարական բանտում էր, երբ նրան ձոնվեց «Արազի ափին ծնված ընկեր» երգը։ Բանտում ամեն կիրակի Նժդեհին այցելում էր մայրը՝ Տիրուհի Գյուլնազարյանը։ «Մայրս․․․Իմ սու՜րբը։ Հիշում եմ, թե ինչես էր նա 50 տարի առաջ, ամեն կիրակի, գյուղից ոտքով գալիս Նախիջևան, որպեսզի տեսակցի ինձ ցարական բանտում»,- գրում է Գարեգին Նժդեհը։ Նժդեհի ծննդավայր Կզնուտ գյուղից մինչև Նախիջևան քաղաք այսօր նորակառույց ճանապարհով 16 կմ է, նախկինում՝ մոտ 18 կմ։ Փաստորեն Տիրուհի մայրիկն ամեն կիրակի ոտքով անցել է մոտ 36 կմ ճանապարհ, իր որդուն տեսնելու և բանտում հաց տանելու համար։ Հ.Գ «Նկարների որակը մշակվել է էջի կողմից։» ©️ Գարեգին Նժդեհ 🇦🇲 ❗Հայրենիքը՝ ամենից առաջ 🇦🇲
