During Season 1, players spent 1,704,202 $GH on buying gold. We promised to burn 50% of that amount (the remaining 50% went to the season’s reward pool).
What does it mean to burn tokens?
In the TON blockchain, it means sending tokens to the zero address: zero-address.ton. Tokens sent there are permanently removed from circulation, reducing the total supply.

Is this a good thing?
Absolutely! Remember, $GH is a deflationary token with a total supply initially set at 50,000,000, and no more tokens can ever be issued since the minting rights were revoked back in May. After burning 1.7% of the supply, only 49,147,899 $GH are left, making each remaining token more valuable.
Will $GH price increase?
Yes, but not immediately. Burning tokens is a solid way to boost the value of an asset, but the effect takes time and works best with increasing demand.
Will there be more demand for $GH?
Starting in Season 2, many new game mechanics will require $GH. As the player base grows, so will the demand for the token.
Where will new players come from?
After we test PvP in the off-season, add player onboarding features, and launch Season 2, we’ll kick off several marketing campaigns and collaborations that should bring in lots of new players.
How can newcomers join PvP without $GH?
We know that new players won’t rush to buy tokens right away. They’ll first need to get familiar with the game, level up their character, and buy gear with gold. PvP won’t be available at early levels, so while players are leveling up, they’ll have the chance to earn some $GH within the game to start their PvP journey.
So the game remains free-to-play: players don’t have to buy tokens with TON. They can earn some $GH just by playing and investing their time into developing their character.
