In the end, I picked a OnePlus Nord 2 5G (MTK), for which I’ve already started works for it. You can find everything’s here: oneplus-mt6893-devs The kernel inside the org doesn’t have the USB panic issue, as well as SELinux restrictions imposed by OnePlus/OPPO. A proper device tree will come soon, too. The TWRP tree that’s already there works fine for R, encryption for S is broken as usual. Updates will be posted here! - Giovix92

I'm retiring officially from cepheus development after today's last brick. It was good till it lasted, thank you all for your support in this year! I'll continue LineageOS for lavender. I'm planning to change device: was opting for iPhones, but if a good android alternative exists (and needs development), reply to this post to let me know. We'll see together. Thank you again. While testing the newly built LineageOS lavender build (check it out here), I’ve made a little python script to help y’all backup your stuff while changing rom. I present y’all adbsync! Wanna know more about it? Check its github repo. TL;DR: time by time, your backups will be faster by using this, I promise. See ya soon!

With the new logo on (hope you like it by the way), I’ve made some other channels/bots to help you (and me obv) keep track of the things I do. Here, meet GAssistant (@giovix92cibot) and its own channel (@giovix92ci)! GAssistant will be my CI helper for cepheus/lavender builds. LineageOS only, for now. It’s powered by @SebaUbuntu's HomeBot, go check it out! Oh, and by the way: a “new” motherboard is coming in (cepheus). The brick problem has been addressed since some days: vayu’s IPA firmware was being flashed while being in bootanimation. Newer builds won’t have this issue, and will (luckily) speed up releases times. (that's the 4th one rofl) Happy holidays y’all!
