After years of delays and funding uncertainty, Northern Ireland says Casement Park will be built. First Minister Michelle O’Neill called the stadium redevelopment an absolute priority as construction gathers pace, even though reports suggest the venue may open with a significantly smaller capacity than the planned 34,500 seats. The Ulster GAA says work is progressing and is now considering a phased construction approach while continuing to work with government partners on funding. It may not be the stadium originally envisioned, but supporters are finally seeing something they have waited years for-real progress on the ground.
