Desk Monitoring Engineer
🌎 Location: remote from anywhere
👉 Team: International FinTech, one of the leading quantitative trading companies with HQ in Dubai
We are looking for a Desk Monitoring Engineer as we're building a brand-new department
📍What will you do in this role?
- Take full ownership of alerting systems and monitoring solutions for business-critical infrastructure
- Work with Python, Linux, and latest monitoring tools
- Advanced troubleshooting as well escalating cases & collaborating closely with Reliability Engineers, Linux team, Software Engineers
- Get your hands on customizing and optimizing monitoring and alerting solutions
- Collaborate with peers and leading experts from around the globe
📍 About you:
- Experience in a similar position for 2-3 years. Desk monitoring is a big plus
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and alerting systems and solutions, e.g. Prometheus, Grafana
- Scripting skills in Python, familiarity with Linux environment and automation
- Prior experience in HFT/ quantitative trading / FinTech is a plus
- English B2
