At Least Eight Feared Dead in Grisly Mombasa Road Collision
At least eight people are feared dead following a grisly collision involving a PSV matatu and a saloon car along Mombasa Road near Syokimau on Thursday evening.
The crash occurred between Quiver Mombasa Road and Katani, with both vehicles landing in a ditch after what appeared to be a head-on collision. The 18-seater matatu sustained extensive damage to its front, driver’s cabin, and rear section, while the saloon car was badly wrecked.
Emergency teams responded to the scene to assist victims, although the number of survivors remained unclear. Police have launched investigations into the cause of the crash.
