International Youth Day was more than a celebration. It was a moment to turn youth voices into action.
On August 11–12, the YEFFA Ethiopia Youth Convening and Inception Meeting brought together young people and key ecosystem actors with a shared ambition: to advance youth entrepreneurship, employment, and food systems transformation in Ethiopia.
Day 1 of the YEFFA Ethiopia Youth Convening put young people at the center of shaping the future of Ethiopia’s food systems.
Through interactive discussions on agribusiness, access to finance and markets, technology, and inclusion, young participants shared their experiences, challenged existing barriers, and co-created a Youth Communiqué reflecting their priorities and aspirations.
A day designed with youth, led by youth, and shaped by youth.
