World famous boutique-confectionery Ladurée is opened in Moscow 🍪
Ladurée's was founded in 1862 by Louis Ernest Ladurée. The interior of the boutique-confectionery was made in the same style as Opera Garnier. The chubby angels became one of the main symbols of the brand.
Louis Ernest's wife, Jeanne Souchard, suggested the idea of turning the pastry shop into a tea salon so that women who were forbidden to appear in restaurants at that time could use it as a place to meet with friends. And the confectionery has found stunning success.
But the main discovery of boutique-confectionery was the invention of Pierre Delafontaine. He created the iconic macaroons Ladurée. Since then, macaroons have been the pride of Ladurée and one of the most famous French desserts.
In Russia, the first boutique-confectionery Ladurée opened in March 2016 at Malaya Bronnaya 27/14. All pastries are delivered from France to preserve the flavor. In the confectionery area, you can order non-alcoholic drinks and wine or champagne.
