❓ Clarified: Some Maybank odds and ends I sent a few questions over to Maybank to clarify a few things which the T&Cs are silent on, as well as the TREATS SG app and Google Pay progress. I'll be integrating these bits into the relevant articles, but here's the summary: 💳 Minimum spend for Rewards Infinite can be combined across cards Maybank cardholders who spend S$24,000 in a 12-month period will qualify for a Rewards Infinite membership (the main benefit of which is non-expiring TREATS Points). This spending can be combined across any of the eligible cards under the programme, e.g. spending S$12K on Maybank XL Rewards Card and S$12K on Maybank Horizon Visa Signature. As a reminder, Maybank Visa Infinite and Maybank World Mastercard customers receive complimentary Rewards Infinite status, without any minimum spend requirement 💳 Maybank Visa Infinite: 8th is the cutoff The Maybank Visa Infinite awards 3.2 mpd on FCY spend, subject to a minimum spend of S$4,000 (in SGD or FCY) in a given calendar month. While the T&Cs are silent on this, Maybank has clarified that any transaction made in a given calendar month and posted by the 8th day of the following month will be considered as part of the minimum spend in the month it was transacted. For example, if a S$200 transaction made on 31 May 2026 posts on 2 June 2026, that S$200 will count towards the minimum spend for May 2026. This mirrors similar concessions for the Horizon (post by 6th of following month), World Mastercard (7th) and XL Rewards Card (10th). ✈️ Online conversions for non-KrisFlyer programmes in the pipeline One annoying thing about Maybank cards is that you need to fill in a PDF form to convert points to Asia Miles, Malaysia Airlines Enrich or AirAsia. Only KrisFlyer conversions can be made through the TREATS SG app. I asked Maybank when we can expect online conversions for all programmes, and received the following response. We are continually enhancing the TREATS SG experience for our customers, including exploring ways to further automate the redemption process for airline miles. While we do not have a confirmed timeline to share at this stage, we will keep customers updated as new features become available. 📱 "Good progress" made on Google Pay Maybank cards issued in Singapore work with Apple Pay and Samsung Pay, but not Google Pay — not yet anyway. Here's a statement on the progress. We are currently in the testing phase for Google Pay integration in Singapore and are making good progress. While we are not in a position to announce a launch date just yet, we expect to share more details in due course and will be happy to keep you informed when we are ready to make an announcement.
