FROM REJECTIONS TO RELOCATION
One of the best parts of running our Substack, The Global Move, is hearing from people who found a new role abroad through our handpicked job lists.
We spoke with Mojtaba, who recently relocated to London 🇬🇧 after a long and challenging international job search.
He had been applying for developer roles across Europe for almost two years – hundreds of applications, hundreds of rejections – but he didn’t give up.
In our interview, Mojtaba shares:
- why he decided to relocate
- how he coped with multiple rejections and stayed motivated
- how he approached the job search and what his application strategy was
- what resources and tools he used
- what his strategy was regarding cover letters
- and practical advice based on his job search journey
