Global Controller Full-time/Company: Bitwise Investments Bitwise Asset Management manages crypto assets across ETFs, separately managed accounts, private funds, institutional staking, and hedge fund strategies. The firm has crossed $15B in client assets and operates as a team of 100+ global professionals serving financial advisors, family offices, and institutional investors. Applicants should be based in San Francisco, New York, London, or Zug. Responsibilities: - Oversee the global accounting function as senior accounting authority across all entities - Design scalable accounting architecture, policies, and reporting standards - Assess accounting practices, identify risks, and establish controls and close procedures - Lead consolidated financial reporting, multi-entity consolidation, and PCAOB audit readiness - Manage accounting across jurisdictions including US GAAP, IFRS, and Swiss statutory requirements - Direct accounting integration of newly acquired entities - Build and develop high-performing global accounting teams Requirements: - CPA certification required - Minimum 4 years as Controller or Assistant Controller in multi-entity/global/public environments - Deep expertise in US GAAP, consolidation, foreign currency accounting, and technical accounting - Strong executive presence and communication skills Nice to have: - Asset management or financial services background - Crypto industry experience - M&A and post-acquisition integration experience Benefits: - Base salary: $250,000–$300,000 plus equity - Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) and flexible spending accounts - Paid parental leave; life and disability insurance; 401(k) - Unlimited PTO, 10 paid holidays plus winter break - Meals, snacks, and cell phone stipend 📩 Apply
