Data Engineer Company: BCB Group BCB Group is a leading provider of regulated payment and trading services in crypto and fiat for the digital asset economy. They provide accounts, cryptocurrency and FX market liquidity to institutional clients and offer an end-to-end suite of products accessible via UI and API. Responsibilities: - Integrate multiple data sources into the cloud Data Warehouse and ensure data consistency and integrity. - Design and implement robust ETL processes and data ingestion pipelines. - Develop and maintain data models, dashboards and visualisations to meet stakeholder needs. - Automate business workflows using no-code / low-code tools in partnership with business teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to translate loosely defined requirements into actionable solutions and respond to data queries. - Prepare and deliver regulatory reports and ensure compliance with data regulations. - Implement data quality standards, governance and multi-layer testing for production code. Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in a data-related field. - Advanced proficiency in SQL and Google Sheets (or Excel). - Strong understanding of ETL processes, data ingestion, transformation and dashboard creation. - Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Good business acumen and ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; self-motivated and curious. Nice to have: - Experience with data modelling tools (e.g., dbt) and visualization platforms (e.g., Looker, Thoughtspot). - Familiarity with no-code/low-code tools (e.g., n8n) and version control (git). - Programming skills in Python, R or TypeScript. - Experience in Payments, FinTech, Banking or Cryptocurrency industries. - Knowledge of statistical concepts and familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Relevant degree (Computer Science, Business, Economics, Statistics, etc.).
