Senior Legal Counsel - Crypto / DeFi
Full-time/Company: Re7 Capital
Re7 Capital is a London-based crypto-asset investment firm operating a range of innovative investment strategies at the frontier of digital assets. The team combines institutional finance experience, DeFi-native insight, and proprietary data infrastructure.
Applicants should ideally be located within 3 hours of GMT/BST.
Responsibilities:
- Manage regulatory licensing and cross-jurisdictional legal structures.
- Support commercial deal structuring and negotiation.
- Ensure compliance across sales, marketing and corporate communications.
- Advise on legal and regulatory aspects of existing and new products.
- Handle legal entity governance, IP protection, and data privacy compliance.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of legal and operations experience within crypto, asset management or financial services.
- Qualified lawyer or equivalent senior legal experience.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations across multiple jurisdictions (e.g. FCA, CIMA, SEC, MiCA).
- Proven experience managing legal entity structuring, fund governance, and cross-border operations.
- Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Familiarity with offshore fund and asset management structures.
- Experience working with external counsel and regulators.
