RUNNING ON WAVES - cruises

RUNNING ON WAVES. Widening the scope. We thought we covered all seas and islands around Greece rather well. From Sporades and Dodecanese to Ionic islands. However, we haven't been all that much in Northern Aegean apart from Halkidiki. Now we are developing 2 versions of one potential cruise route that can spark a lot of interest. First one is Thessaloniki - Kavala - Thassos - Samothraki - Cannakale - Istanbul. Second version is Thessaloniki - Thassos - Samothraki - Lemnos - Cannakale - Istanbul. Most of you know what Istanbul is famous for. You also get to see Bosphorus and Dardanelle straits on the way to this massive city. Thessaloniki is Greece's second largest city. Kavala is located next to a huge natural reserve in a river delta. Samothraki hosts a mythical Sanctuary of the Great Gods, while Cannakale is the gates to reach the site of the ancient Troy.
