Metaplanet brings 2,100 BTC to Nasdaq

Tokyo-based Metaplanet has agreed to move 2,100 BTC into the U.S. market through an arrangement with Super League Enterprise.
The transaction includes transferring the bitcoin assets alongside $2.5 million in cash in exchange for 44,859,400 common shares priced at $3 each. 🌐
Pending regulatory approvals and shareholder consent in the fourth quarter, Super League Enterprise will change its name to Superplanet and trade under the ticker SUPA. Metaplanet will secure roughly 95.7% of the voting shares and appoint five out of nine corporate directors.
This initial transfer represents under 5% of the firm's total 43,000 BTC reserves, using current assets instead of executing new market purchases to secure a North American capital vehicle. 📊
