Inflationary Expectations
Beyond objective reasons for price growth (exchange rate, logistics), there is the factor of inflationary expectations. Producers and sellers see the dollar rising and raise prices in advance, "hedging" against uncertainty.
This creates a self-fulfilling prophecy: everyone raises prices because they fear that others will also raise prices. In such an environment, inflation becomes a psychological inertia that is far more dangerous than direct economic causes.
In conditions of high currency volatility, plan your expenses with a margin of at least 15-20% over a six-month horizon. This is a practical survival measure.
