Thursday, May 28, 2026 GFS Model, There You Go Again With Storm In Gulf,Drier Hotter Weekend Forecast, New Podcast I remember during a Presidential debate bay in 1980, Ronald Reagan used a line "there you go again" when confronting his opponent who made a falsehood/misleading statement. It's almost like last night's model run of the GFS that placed a named storm in the Gulf south of us for early NEXT Saturday. There you go again as the GFS often places storms 7-14 days out that never happen. Link in Comments👇Ссылка скрыта

Big time rains over the past 30 days. Parts of South Mississippi have seen nearly 30 inches of rain. Southeast Louisiana has seen widespread 10-15 inches with lower totals near the coast. What drought??

WEDNESDAY: More rain and storms move in from the west today. While this line won’t be as robust once it makes it to southeastern Louisiana, it will be the culprit behind our scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. #nola #lawx #mswx

Louisiana currently 🤣

HEAVY RAIN THREAT⚠️⛈️ Stubborn setup stalls across the Deep South & western Gulf Coast over the next week to 10 days. Hot spots of 6-12+” of rain likely. The rain will comes in rounds, and there will be breaks; but in areas where repeated waves of storms occur, expect flash flood concerns. The bullseye of heaviest rain starting by Tuesday/Wednesday(5/19-5/20) will be across South-Central Texas into Western Louisiana/Arkansas. The Weather Prediction Center mentions that heavy rain will make headlines into late week with flash flooding likely. By late week into this upcoming weekend, several additional disturbances look to shift the axis of heaviest rain potential into western Louisiana.
