Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to continue the growth of both Cobrowser and Knowler.io
. As a DevOps engineer you manage the software and systems within the entire DTAP street. For developers you ensure a representative environment and for production you ensure optimal uptime and performance. You are the link between the developer and the production system, responsible for proactively preventing and resolving failures. In addition, you keep the used server software up-to-date and configurations secure.
We use Kubernetes in our production systems. The software is run via containers on roughly 75 virtualized VMWare hosts. Our growth ambition also includes growth of our server park and cluster.
Your skills:
- Kubernetes & Docker
- VMWare & vCloud
- Knowledge of (linux) high performance networking
- Knowledge of high availability solutions
- Experience with monitoring and proactive maintenance
- Experience with security configuration and scanning
- Experience with linux provisioning and updates
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
- You can analyze quickly and switch in case of critical failures
- Basic Knowledge of Web techniques, such as PHP and Javascript
You will be working remotely as a private professional in an International team of developers, which means that a certain level of conversational english is a requirement.
