Varanasi to launch public e-bike sharing service from August 1 across 18 city stations
The first batch of smart e-bikes for the inaugural phase has already arrived in the city and modifications are currently under way
Stations are also planned at Banaras Hindu University and Sampurnanand University, ensuring that students benefit from the scheme alongside pilgrims and tourists. The initiative is also expected to contribute to improving air quality in Varanasi
