Manager- PPC ( Production, Planning and Control) - Near Indore MNC in Auto Components Manufacturing Role- Serve as a central coordinating resource for customer order entry, production and shipping scheduling, interplant sub-contracting and purchasing .Manage, initiate, control and direct the activities of all personnel involved in ensuring on time delivery at minimum cost of labour and materials. RESPONSIBILITIES- * Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements in company. * Work on The Global Operating System . * ISO 45001 Health and Safety Management system standard * ISO 14001 Environmental Management system standard * IATF 16949 Technical Specification Management and company's Quality Basics system standards. * Support, Foster, Promote and Demonstrate company's Core Values and Leadership Behaviors. * Maintain balance between customer, employee and financial satisfaction by maximizing facility/department Performance Indicators to align to company’s Stepping Stool of Success Strategy. * Lead Production Planning and Control activities to ensure customer scheduling requirements are met through credible attainable production schedules and effective utilization of plant capacity. * Ensure co-ordination between production schedules and shipping schedules to meet customer requirements. * Co-ordinate interplant ( Group Company ) sub-contracting and delivery requirements with Production. * Keep the purchased inventory and supplies to such a low level without slowing down production with waiting time * Control work-in-process and finished goods inventory. * Monitor production use and scrap factor. * Minimize transportation costs by using proper transportation method whenever possible for – outgoing shipments, incoming materials, Work In Process and supplies. * Manage tool crib team to control consumable tooling & shop supply inventory in a proper level. * Lead consumable tooling & shop supply purchasing activities for the plant. * Monitor consigned material flow in consideration of floor space usage, ensure First One In, First One Out, accommodate lot control traceability. ACADEMIC / EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: BE/ Diploma / Graduate / Degree in Materials Management REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: * Ability to meet, realize and support customers’ product requirements, implement the knowledge of operation system . * Minimum of 8-10 years in PPC and purchasing in a reputed , MNC preferred . * Experience in of supervision in production planning and inventory control. * Must have sound practical knowledge of all scheduling techniques. * Computer knowledge * Fluent in English.
