In this viral street debate clip, a heated argument over gun control and self-defense takes an unexpected turn when one speaker inadvertently undermines her own stance. The conversation, taking place under umbrellas in the rain, begins with a woman confidently asserting that guns are entirely unnecessary for personal safety.
When pressed on how someone should defend themselves against a violent criminal or home intruder, she suggests using a knife. Her opponent quickly counters, asking how a knife would protect anyone if the criminal is armed with a firearm, noting that criminals by definition do not follow laws. The anti-gun advocate attempts to double down on her point, claiming that if guns were completely eliminated, a criminal wouldn't have access to one in the first place.
