💡 🥡 ♻️ #idea #reduce #waste #food #container #box #takeaway
Hi Telegram friends!
Just wanted to share with you a simple idea to reduce waste. 😎
During the soft lock down in Taiwan, we could only buy food in restaurants to take home. To reduce the packaging waste we bought some new food container boxes that can withstand high temperatures (about 100C). So the restaurants can put the food directly into our containers.
Now that the covid situation is better and we can eat out again, we are still taking empty boxes with us when we eat out.
That way we can pack any leftovers from the meal and reduce the packaging usually provided by the restaurants.
Hope you'll also start doing this if you eat out or order food from restaurants to take home.
It does take a bit of foresight and change of habits, but it's definitely worth it. 😁
