A little bit of Cuban rhythms! Por el mar de las Antillas from Brouwer’s Sonata de Los Viajeros permormed by Brasil Guitar Duo Enjoy! Por el mar de las Antillas with its vibrant rhythms and nostalgic recollections of Brouwer’s Cuba, is the culmination of the long musical journey in four movements called "Sonata de Los Viajeros" (Sonata of the Travelers). Written in 2009, this tour de force of the guitar duo repertoire was both premiered in Cuba and recorded for the first time by the Brasil Guitar Duo upon special request by the composer himself. In this fascinating work, each movement describes the feelings of anxiety, fear, and amazement of two travelers who discover different landscapes and travel in time. Brouwer’s unique style combined with his knowledge of all the colors of the guitar are meticulously used in this piece, making the narrative more clear and inviting the listener to take part in the journey. - João Luiz (Brasil Guitar Duo) Ссылка скрыта
