In a new article for Vestnik Kipra, I explained what a passenger should do if they are denied boarding because of overbooking: who is most often in the risk zone, which flights from Cyprus are protected by the European regulation and in which cases you can claim compensation of up to €600.
The main thing is not to panic at the airport and to remember: if you are denied boarding against your will, the law is on the passenger’s side.
