Wizz Air has announced that from 2027 its aircraft will start being fitted with Starlink satellite internet.
The connection will be rolled out in stages, but the plan is to extend the service to the entire fleet. As a result, passengers will be able to stay online not only at the boarding gate or after landing, but also during the flight.
Wizz Air has not yet clarified whether the internet will be included in the ticket or offered as a separate paid option. Given the low-cost model, the second option looks more likely - but there is no official confirmation on this yet.
