Desde Canadá - inmigración

Еще хотела добавить на заметку сдающим IELTS для иммиграции. Многие думают, что оттачивание навыков Writing Task 1, то есть написание формальных и неформальных писем, - это только для экзамена. Типа, сдал и - забыл. Так вот, в Канаде эпистолярный жанр жив!! Я имейлы пачками пишу чуть ли не каждый день: в гос. органы, по работе само собой, в школу, в университет, по кружкам и секциям, по волонтёрству, по разным другим активностям. Так что готовьтесь к экзамену с мыслью, что вам знания по Task 1 всю жизнь будут дальше служить. Хотя, кто-то скажет, зачем? Ведь сейчас под рукой есть ChatGPT, и можно сильно не напрягаться. Но я стараюсь пореже им пользоваться, и в основном для проверки, чтобы мозги не атрофировались за ненадобностью. Вот пример письма из переписки с универом в апреле. Все по науке, как говорится. Не идеальное, но на 7,5/8 потянет, думаю. 😅 Dear Caroline Guay,   Thank you for the great news. I am truly honoured and excited about my future journey at Concordia!   I have a question regarding the condition for admission.   One of the documents to be submitted is complete official transcripts from Lingua Institute of Language and Translation.  However, the problem is that the Institute no longer exists, as it was reorganized and merged with another university in 2012.  The name of the University, created as a result of the merger, is Central Kazakhstan Academy (CKA).   I have sent a request to CKA whether it would be possible for them to send a transcript directly to Concordia, and I am currently awaiting their response. In the meantime, I would like to ask you if there are other viable options such as: 1) presenting an original apostilled diploma and transcripts, because an apostille is an official document issued by the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan.   Or   2) Having the diploma and transcripts legalized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan, which could serve as proof of the authenticity of the documents.   Please kindly advise what would be the best solution in this case.
