Planning a trip to Ireland's County Leitrim just got a lot easier-and a lot more digital. A new Visit Leitrim app now gives visitors instant access to hotels, restaurants, festivals, outdoor activities, and interactive maps, while more than 230 local businesses can update offers and send real-time notifications about events and availability. The project, created with €50,000 in public funding, grew out of ideas sparked during the COVID-19 pandemic, when printed brochures began disappearing. It turns out the best local guide might not be a leaflet anymore-it could be the app already sitting in your pocket.
