Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well. I run a disability support agency, and there was a member in this group who recently left but wanted to use my services. Initially, everything was going smoothly. They signed a service agreement and approved all my invoices. However, after I witnessed an incident of domestic violence involving the husband and reported it to the Support Coordinator and the police, the situation took a turn. Suddenly, both individuals turned against me. I had also left some gardening tools for their child to use, but they now claim they never received them and now they have stolen over $1,000 worth of my garden equipment. This situation has been incredibly distressing, and I’ve sought counselling to cope with the trauma I’ve experienced as a result. Recently, I’ve had to involve a solicitor, as they are now trying to make me repay three months' worth of work, all because the husband is causing issues. It’s disheartening, especially considering this family identifies as a Christian family. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I appreciate your support.
