They attended is same high school which seems like an almost unbelievable coincidence considering their different styles, generational gaps, and the unique impact each of them had on music. They studied in Long Beach High School in New York. It’s remarkable that one high school could be starting point for three such distinct yet groundbreaking musical careers. 🐾 Vocal Preset. People have long speculated about what effects Peep used on his vocals. There were plenty of tutorials online trying to recreate his vocal style, but most of them were either very low quality or focused solely on his later tracks which sound very different from the ones he made in 2015. Those early tracks had a completely different atmosphere and mixed structure. Everything became clear in June 2024 when the original Garage Band sessions from Come Over When You Sober leaked online. 🐾 Held at gunpoint. Yung Cortex shared a shocking story from the time he was living with Peep and smokeasac. One morning around 8 a.m., there were also some other artists in the apartment who came up with a stupid idea. They planned to rob a weed dealer using fake money. Peep and others immediately opposed the idea and tried to stop them. Unfortunately, they did it anyway. Just a few minutes later they came running back into the apartment in a panic and hid in Peep’s room. In the end, they had to give the man money to deescalate the situation. 🐾 Lost Vlog. Shortly after Lil Peep’s death in 2017, a post appeared on Reddit from someone looking for a vlog from 2015 that supposedly showed Peep hanging out with friends and giving a tour of where he recorded music. Somebody said that they saw a video but nobody could give a source of it and somebody said that this video never existed at all. People have archiving Peep related content since the begging of his career, and if the video was real, it would have definitely surfaced by now. 🐾 Jar Pic. One user claims that there once existed a photo showing Lil Peep and Fat Nick in which Peep was holding a jar full of xanax supposedly given to him by Nick. Many people claim to have seen it on Fat Nick’s Twitter in November 2017. Interestingly, Fat Nick strongly denies that such photo ever existed. 🐾 Lana Del Rey went to a concert. Lana Del Rey, an American singer and songwriter, did attend one of Lil Peep’s concerts. Her presence was documented by a friend who posted a photo of Lana. Concert took place in Los-Angeles. Interestingly, although Lana Del Rey comes from a different generation than Lil Peep and represents a different musical aesthetic, she was a fan of his and appreciated his work. This event shows that he was recognized not only by his peers but also by icons of alternative music. 🐾 Stems Deleted. In 2021, a theory emerged that all of Lil Peep’s song stems had been deleted. According to collected information, First Access Entertainment, Peep’s label, allegedly removed his entire stems archive. The motive or exact story why they did that is unknown. Overtime, however it turned out that Peep’s mother actually had most of the song stems. In 2024 ICloud leak leakers discovered stems from almost every track Peep had created on his macbook. Why almost? Because Peep had deleted many session files from his older songs himself. 🐾 Johny Depp Friendship. The story of Lil Peep’s meeting with Johny Depp’s family took place in March 2017. At the time, Peep was spending a lot of time with designer Tyler Graso, the owner of the brand Super Radical. Graso was a close friend of model Ash Stymist, who was then dating Depp’s daughter. During that period, Graso, Fat Nick, Ash and Peep took part in a photo shoot for Super Raticals lookbook, which was held in the garden of one of Depp’s Hollywood properties. Peep and Tyler also working on the Super Radical Ex Hellboy collaboration at the time. After the shoot, the whole group had dinner together at Depp’s house. From what Graso once said, they never actually met Johny Depp himself.
