Scream 7 by Kevin Williamson
While all critics called it shit and all audiences loved it, Scream 7 has two redeeming qualities.
First, Kevin Williamson in the lead is the biggest-ever true franchise comeback. He is the second face of the original Scream from the 90s; he and Wes Craven are like Billy Loomis and Stu Macher, two in one.
Second, Neve Campbell, already in her 50s, proved to be a true last girl, definitely the reigning U.S. horror queen — nothing Mia Goth and Jenna Ortega can do about that.
And three — how could I forget? It’s kinda fun. Yeah.
