The Brutalist by Brady Corbet
Bravo! Likely one of the best films I’ve seen in a while, a grand piece of period cinema, and like a gulp of fresh air, this movie offers a token of support for Israel in our crazy antisemitic times.
What I was sad about, truly sad about, is how they ridiculed, totally diminished Harrison Van Buren from a great totally Ayn Randian entrepreneur to … oh, well, no spoilers.
My 8yo loves ranking stuff on 10/10 scale, and this one definitely 9.5 or above.
