However, it was crowded out from wealthy houses by tea, but for the populace it remained the favorite drink. After the 1917 revolution, sbiten almost fell out of use. Ingredients: water – 250 ml. sugar – 10 g cloves – 2 g. allspice – 2 g. cardamom – 2 g. ginger root – 10 g. honey – 1 tbsp. cinnamon – 2 sticks How to make it: Pour water into a saucepan and bring to a boil When it boils, add sugar, cloves, allspice, cardamom and grated ginger. Boil over low heat for 7-10 minutes, covering with a cover. Add honey and remove from heat. Serve with sticks of cinnamon. Enjoy your hot drink!
