⚠️ Heads up: AMEX Platinum Charge increasing supplementary card annual fee
The AMEX Platinum Charge will be increasing the annual fee for supplementary cards by 67% from 15 October 2026 to S$272.50, up from the current S$163.50.
The annual fees for the first two supplementary cards will continue to be waived in perpetuity.
The annual fee increase will only take effect from the following membership year, so if your supplementary cards are issued prior to 15 October 2026, they'll keep the current fee structure until renewal.
It's not the worst deal in the world to pay S$272.50 for a supplementary card that offers unlimited Plaza Premium and Centurion Lounge access, Hilton Gold and other elite status, Tower Club access as well as AMEX Love Dining and Chillax benefits.
That said, given that cardholders here are already paying the highest Platinum fees in the world, any fee increase is going to sting.
