Singapore has policies designed to prioritize hiring local talent. For most roles, companies must apply for an Employment Pass and advertise positions to local candidates first. That said, opportunities still exist. According to Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower, the country employs over 1.5M foreign workers, including 200K+ Employment Pass holders. Here are a few companies I’m aware of that offer visa sponsorship/relocation support: • BandLab (now actively hiring for a Backend Engineer role) • PwC • Riot Games Citibank might also be worth checking out. Redditors say they have a large number of foreign staff, so there’s a chance they still sponsor work visas.
