Responsibilities: - Hire, mentor, and grow a high-caliber engineering team focused on blockchain systems. - Refine engineering roadmap, set technology strategy, and drive operational excellence for your team. - Lead delivery: own quality of execution, timeliness, and impact for a single engineering team. - Coach and provide feedback to level up team members and support their career growth. - Collaborate closely with Product Managers to align product plans with technical realities and team capacity. - Work with other engineering managers, recruiting, and people teams to drive hiring, retention, and team structure. Requirements: - Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring, and growing geographically distributed engineering teams. - Real-world experience building complex distributed systems and supporting services long-term. - Strong computer science fundamentals (concurrency, algorithms, data structures). - Commitment to code quality, testing infrastructure, and prioritizing end-user experience and business value. - Experience with applied cryptography. - Professional experience with Go/Rust/TypeScript/Solidity (languages can be learned; emphasis on engineering and management skills).
