Responsibilities: - Hire, mentor and grow a team of engineers; drive recruiting and retention efforts. - Refine team roadmap, drive operational excellence, and define technology strategy. - Tackle complex, ambiguous challenges and deliver scalable solutions. - Ensure quality of execution, timeliness of delivery, and strong test infrastructure. - Collaborate closely with Product Managers to align product investment and delivery. - Coach and provide feedback to support career progression and team health. Requirements: - Proven experience managing, mentoring, and growing geographically distributed engineering teams. - Real-world experience building complex distributed systems. - Strong computer science fundamentals (concurrency, algorithms, data structures). - Experience with applied cryptography and familiarity with blockchain protocol research. - Professional experience with one or more: Go, Rust, TypeScript, Solidity. - Commitment to code quality, testing, and operational excellence. - Able to complete an in-person onboarding process (required).
