Senior Legal Counsel - Crypto / DeFi Full-time/Company: Re7 Capital Re7 Capital is a London-based crypto-asset investment firm. Responsibilities: - Manage regulatory licensing and cross-jurisdictional legal structures. - Support and challenge commercial deal structuring and negotiation. - Ensure compliance across sales, marketing and corporate communications. - Advise on legal and regulatory aspects of existing and new products. - Handle legal entity governance, IP protection and data privacy compliance. Requirements: - 5+ years legal and operations experience in crypto, asset management or financial services. - Qualified lawyer or equivalent senior legal experience. - Strong understanding of financial regulations across multiple jurisdictions (e.g. FCA, CIMA, SEC, MiCA). - Proven experience with legal entity structuring, fund governance and cross-border operations. - Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. - Familiarity with offshore fund and asset management structures. - Experience working with external counsel and regulators. Nice to have: - Comfortable operating at pace in complex and nuanced environments. - Strategic mindset with the ability to convert commercial opportunities into action. - Proactive, hands-on 'roll up your sleeves' attitude and strong ownership. - Organised and able to manage multiple concurrent legal and compliance workstreams. - Extensive use of AI to improve efficiency; committed to innovation and process improvement.
