Government Officials, including Police officers, will NEVER ask you to:
❌ Transfer money over the phone
❌ Ask you to transfer money to a ‘safety account’ to aid with investigations
❌ Ask you to hand over gold or valuables
✅ By taking a moment to check, you can better protect yourself and those around you from scams.
📞 Unsure if it’s a scam? Call and check with the 24/7 ScamShield Helpline at 1799.
