To top it up, investing all these 12 years in personal brand building by some ministers & not the ideology, and absence of any sincere efforts in creating an ecosystem has hit them hard all at once. Unfortunately, PM Modi has been let down massively by his own team therefore. An individual's talent can set the floor, but the team's synergy determines the ceiling. The speed of the boss is the speed of the team, but if the team is not upto the mark then no matter how brilliant your individual mind or strategy is, you’re playing a solo game, & you’ll always lose out to a team. That's what is happening. His whole team is just dependent on him, his face, his speech, his words, his actions. Teams win championships only when individuals play the game. What worked till now, can only get you this far. When that becomes predictable, an SOP, you allow opposition to beat you at your game. The 'pappu' image of Rahul no longer holds because it became predictable & stale. PM is being ridiculed now with a 'pappu-ization' of his image because of the same monotony crept in last 12 years. Lastly, don't rely on big-bang actions on Western or Eastern borders will compensate for the issues on ground.
