We also contribute to federal science projects like IC4F or DaLion. We are looking for an experienced NodeJS developer to support us in creating and maintaining our backend software for pushing forward the digitialization in industries. We mostly do functional programming. Your tasks: - Data processing, aggregation, storage and distribution of sensor data - Development of well-tested apps, adapters and libraries - Proposing and applying new software concepts to keep the codebase maintainable and modern - Defining robust and long-living data schemas - Integrate feedback from your team and our tech-savvy customers - Autonomously come up with new ways to improve the software Your profile: - Know-How in modern software design and architecture - Comfortable with the Terminal/Linux Shell - You continoously and autonomously learn to keep up with the latest software trends - You have a good overview of the needs of the consumers of your interfaces (front-end developers, other back-end developers, etc) - You create software that is easy to extend for others and you keep an eye of the maintainability of your teammates code that you also need to consume - Experience with database management, web protocols and microservices - Optional: Experience with industrial protocols like IO-Link, Snap7, MQTT and OPCUA Your future You profit from a combination of a successful international industry and a young and dynamic start-up. For this, it would be ideal to live close to our office in Stuttgart, Germany.
