The Mexican beach of Playa Escondida (also known as Playa del Amor) is situated inside a rocky island and can only be seen through a huge opening at the top.
Due to its immense popularity, it was closed for restoration work. Now there is a daily limit of just 116 people, and it can only be reached by water: by boat to Marietas, followed by a final stretch swum through the cave with a guide.
