The composer's brain was revived and connected to an AI to "write" music again. It emits neural signals that turn into sound in real time.
A team of neuroscientists has grown a mini-organ from the cells of Alvin Lucier, who died in 2021. This brain was connected to electrodes that transmit signals to brass plates with built-in speakers.
The records sound when the organoid is active. At the same time, he hears and understands the surrounding sounds and adjusts the sound to them.
